LegitPark

Privacy Policy

LegitPark is a free tool that shows street-parking rules for US addresses. We collect as little as possible. Last updated: August 22, 2026.

What we collect

Advertising & cookies

LegitPark displays ads served by Google AdSense. In connection with advertising:

Who we share it with

Service providers that make the site work: Cloudflare (hosting, analytics), Google (AdSense advertising, Analytics, Maps), and the AI provider that reads scanned signs. Some outbound links (e.g. car rentals or garages) are affiliate links via advertising networks — see our Terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & choices

You can block cookies in your browser and use a Do-Not-Track or privacy extension; the core "can I park here?" lookup still works, though you may still see non-personalized ads. To request deletion of a sign photo you submitted, email support@legitpark.com.

Data retention & your rights

Because there's no account, we hold very little that's tied to you. Search coordinates are used to look up rules and are not stored against an identity. Analytics data is retained in aggregate per our providers' standard windows. Submitted sign photos are kept as part of the parking-coverage dataset until you ask us to remove one. Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about a submission and request its deletion — email support@legitpark.com and we'll act on it. You can also control advertising and analytics cookies through your browser settings and the opt-out links above.

Children

LegitPark is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of LegitPark means you accept the current version.
